Located in the southwest of London, Chelsea is a part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. In the past, Chelsea was known to be the borough of artists. Today, it is a home to investment bankers and movie celebrities and there is little left from the old times. Because of the high prices of the property, the area is considered to be exclusive and bohemian. King’s Road, the main artery that goes through Chelsea, is without a doubt the most intense local shopping center with its high-end fashion and jewelry boutiques of world-famous brands. In terms of transportation, Chelsea is served by numerous bus lines and although the area currently doesn’t have an Underground station, the residents can use two nearly located stations – the Sloane Square and South Kensington.
